Adding One-Day Code or SentriAccess for Outside Agents

Determine if the showing agent is local, you can google their brokerage to find the address or look at the area code of their phone number (ex: 905 or 416 is typically Toronto).
If they are not a local agent you must provide them with access to the SentriLock lockbox
Log in to SentriLock
Select permission: Broker: Rego Realty

There are two options to provide access to outside agents: if they have downloaded the app you can give them SentriConnect Access. If they do not have the app they can have a one-day code. If you are unsure whether they have the app it is easiest to provide them with a one-day code.

SentriConnect Access

Once logged into SentriLock, navigate to listings
Click Grant SentriConnect Access
Input the agent’s email address in and select the lockbox at the property (search by location)
Select the date and time of their showing, ensure to give them at least a half hour buffer on the start and end time incase they are early or late.
Click Grant Access
When confirming with the showing agent you can let them know that you have granted them SentriConnect Access for their showing

One-Day Code

Once logged into SentriLock, navigate to lockboxes
Under lockboxes select: Add 1 Day Codes
Select the lockbox (search by location) and put in the date of the showing.
Press: Generate Codes
Paste the showing agent’s email into the box and choose Assign then Save Changes
Copy the code and send it to the showing agent. Instruct them that they must press enter before and after the code

If an agent from outside the Waterloo Region is showing one of our listings, we must provide them access to the SentriLock lockbox.
