Duties and Responsibilities


  • Culture: Enhance and maintain a positive, innovative culture and work environment
    • Seek to lead by example
  • Operations: Ongoing improvements to operational effectiveness
    • Oversee daily operations and ensure team members follow company policies and procedures, as well as create them when needed
    • Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures
    • Ensure the company is kept up-to-date and in compliance on all RECO, FINTRAC, and Real Estate board rules and regulations
    • Communicate plans, goals and objectives to the management team to ensure effective execution
    • Analyze internal operations and identify areas of process enhancement
    • Driving the company’s operating capabilities to surpass customer satisfaction and retention, and company goals.
    • Assessing and implementing improved processes and new technologies, and collaborating with management regarding the implementation of these improvements.
  • HR: Build a dedicated and engaged team that strives to achieve the same goal
    • Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding, professional developments, performance management, and retention
    • Collaborate with People and Culture Lead to hire the best staff and Agents in the market, retain their talent and train for success
    • Performance manage the Agent Success Manager to ensure successful results and coach them on their leadership for the same results of their respective teams
    • Employing various initiatives to coach employees to optimize their capabilities.
  • Marketing: Oversee marketing strategy to ensure it directly impacts the target market and goals 
    • Establish and evaluate effectiveness of marketing programs
    • Monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against goals and against market data
    • Review all social media platforms and increase awareness online and interaction
    • Overseeing marketing initiatives to ensure its effectiveness in lead generation 

  • Sales: Establish KPI sales
    • Ensure regular tracking, measuring, and reporting of key metrics to 
    • Set yearly Company and agent KPI’s and projections 
    • Determine best ROI sources
    • Collaborate with the People and Culture Lead to define and approve sales compensation and incentive programs that motivate the sales team
    • Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements
    • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics (Local boards and relative data)
  • Business Development and Strategist: Lead the organization to new growth opportunity
    • Identify new segments and channels to target
    • Design and execute strategic plan 
    • Support in creating and implementing a Corporate business development strategy
    • Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
    • Assist CEO in fundraising ventures
    • Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances, etc.)
    • Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the CEO
    • Directly oversee operations, HR, and partner with the CEO on sales management to budget for sufficient investment capital to achieve growth targets over the near term
    • Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders
    • Spearheading strategies to steer the company’s future in a positive direction.
  • Finance: Establish KPI financials and projections
    • Day-to-day financial management
    • Implement initiatives to improve working and operational cash flow
    • Develop sales budgets and collaborate with Finance on all proformas and analysis
    • Manage and report to expense budgets as assigned by finance
    • Maintain percentage of P&L and targets
    • Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting
    • Controlling company costs, and introducing tactical initiatives to address theft and other losses. (Staging, photos, signs, etc)
    • Monitoring invoices, money handling procedures, accounting and bank processes.
