Technology & Innovation, Manager

The purpose of the Technology & Innovation Manager is to shape the company’s culture and processes by acting as an advocate for innovation. They will improve the productivity of the company through new systems and innovative training processes. The Technology & Innovation Manager will be responsible for the consistent analyzing of current systems to ensure they continue to meet the business needs in overall efficiency. They will drive the overall innovation of the company by researching new technologies, programs and initiatives that will elevate the Brokerage to the next level in efficiency and productivity. The Technology & Innovation Manager will coordinate all training from the initial on-boarding to monthly/yearly refresher courses. 


The Technology & Innovation Manager has a curiosity and hunger to learn and drive innovation.

 

What you do:


  • Build out and maintain all company knowledge base centre from an operational and technical standpoint, including Rego Realty and Y Property Management
  • Present at least 4 new technology ideas, systems, or software, per month that advance the organization's innovation goals
  • Inman News expert while organizing events to capture best practices
  • Exploring new and emerging technologies/tools to support business growth, team effectiveness and customer satisfaction
  • Help define what products are needed in order to drive efficiencies and effectiveness in the Companies to improve processes
  • Work closing with the HR department to analyze training needs to develop new training programs/content or modify and improve existing programs
  • Work closely with all departments to continuously analyze job functions to identify inefficiencies and pain points in order to develop a more efficient and effective process/system
  • Play an active role in development and implementation of tools and resources to improve productivity
  • Responsible for the successful implementation of any new technology to the Brokerage including 3rd party technologies and/or ones created and developed internally. This includes but not limited to the following function;
    • Research
    • Development
    • Design
    • Testing
    • Implementation 
    • Training
  • Possess a strong sense of project-management skills, leadership, organization and communication with the ability to accommodate frequently changing strategies and decisions proactively
  • Work with all levels of the organization to understand user experience and business pain points
  • Provide the management Team with reports on various systems and their overall effectiveness 
  • Spearhead the Company Innovation Lab committee
  • Be a subjective matter expert to front desk and concierge activities, by leveraging our tech stack to provide a memorable client experience
  • Be a leader to the front desk and concierge team member, by ensuring they have the training, knowledge, and insight to exceed expectations in their position

How you add value:


  • Work closely with the HR department to develop and organize training manuals, e-learning courses, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials
  • Create training video content for various systems to build out onboarding and continuing educational courses in Google Classrooms
  • Conduct/host company-wide meetings and training events (in-person and or virtually) with the support of the different department leads
  • Work cooperatively with with various departments to efficiently and effectively facilitate training on various systems/topics
  • Responsible for for monitoring various training programs/activities and evaluating the effectiveness of programs, designing and developing training manuals and course materials which may include handouts and visual materials; identifying requirements to meet training needs
  • Facilitate 1:1 and group training sessions on the various systems/technologies used within the Company on an ongoing basis
  • Create the Real T Lounge into tech hub to facilitate all training and development sessions, Innovation Lab committee meetings and showcase new technologies


Systems Management:

  • Hubspot or any implemented CRM system
  • Google G Suite

  • Rego Realty website / APP
  • Rego Realty technology ie. to be created including for the Real T Lounge
  • New Homes websites and Broker Portals
